Allen is retired from Oklahoma State University.  His career included terms with Boeing, Wichita Statue University and a twenty year stay at OSU.  He has numerous publications and conference proceedings to his credit.  He has awards including Institute of Industrial Engineers Fellow, National President of Alpha Pi Mu, and Industrial Engineering Division Chairman for the American Society of Engineering Education.  Allen and his wife Jacqueline have two sons, Bradley and Gregory.
